Production from Cupen Mahuida

The Cupen Mahuida unconventional gas field recovered 46.55% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2017. The peak production was approximately 168 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2102. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 87.76 Mmboe, comprised of 0.58 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 523.07 bcf of natural gas reserves. Cupen Mahuida unconventional gas field reserves accounts 0.08% of total remaining reserves of producing unconventional gas fields globally.
