Darquain is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Iran and is operated by Arvandan Oil & Gas . The field is located in block West Karoun.
An expansion project is associated with the Darquain, namely Darquain-3 Development. This project is currently in the commissioning stage, expected to start in 2022.

Production from Darquain
The Darquain conventional oil field recovered 38.15% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2026. The peak production will approximately 219.18 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2062. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 1,236.66 Mmboe, comprised of 1,236.66 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Darquain conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.27% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
