Deen Dayal West is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in India and is operated by Oil and Natural Gas. The field is located in block KG-OSN-2001/3, with water depth of 197 feet.

Production from Deen Dayal West

The Deen Dayal West conventional gas field recovered 13.28% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production will approximately 2.12 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 106 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2045. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 68.82 Mmboe, comprised of 7.37 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 368.7 bcf of natural gas reserves. Deen Dayal West conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
