Disouq Development Lease Conventional Gas Field, Egypt

Disouq Development Lease is a producing conventional gas field located onshore Egypt and is operated by Disouq Petroleum. The field is located in block Disouq Development Lease.

An expansion project is associated with the Disouq Development Lease, namely Disouq Gas Development. This project is currently in the feasibility stage, expected to start in 2023.

The field is owned by LetterOne Holdings, BASF and Egyptian General Petroleum.

Production from Disouq Development Lease

The Disouq Development Lease conventional gas field recovered 66.45% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2015. The peak production was approximately 206 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2055.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 25.12 Mmboe, comprised of 2.02 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 138.59 bcf of natural gas reserves. Disouq Development Lease conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
