Dzhel is a conventional gas development located onshore Uzbekistan and is operated by Zarubezhneftegaz – Gpd Central Asia. Discovered in 2009, Dzhel lies in block Shakhpakhty.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2023. The development cost is expected to be $200 m.

Production from Dzhel
Production from the Dzhel conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2023 and is forecast to peak in 2027, to approximately 64 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 29 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2064.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 35.5 Mmboe, comprised of 0.45 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 210.34 bcf of natural gas reserves.
