Excalibur is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Perenco Gas (U.K.). The field is located in block 48/17a HEAD LICENCE – LANCELOT AND EXCALIBUR, 48/12c REST OF BLOCK EXCL MORDRED AND PICKERILL, and 48/18a HEAD LICENCE – LANCELOT AND EXCALIBUR, with water depth of 90 feet.

Production from Excalibur

The Excalibur conventional gas field recovered 94.95% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1996. The peak production was approximately 0.22 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 85 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2032.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 2.17 Mmboe, comprised of 0.02 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 12.92 bcf of natural gas reserves.
