Fula Complex is a producing heavy oil field located onshore Sudan and is operated by PetroEnergy E&P. The field is located in block Block 6.

Production from Fula Complex

The Fula Complex heavy oil field recovered 79.10% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2011. The peak production was approximately 59.1 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2037. The field currently accounts for approximately 59% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 67.26 Mmboe, comprised of 67.26 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Fula Complex heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.15% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
