Gendalo-Gehem Conventional Gas Field, Indonesia

Gendalo-Gehem is a conventional gas development located in ultra-deepwater in Indonesia and is operated by Chevron. Discovered in 2000, Gendalo-Gehem lies in block Ganal and Rapak, with water depth of around 6,036 feet.

The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025. The development cost is expected to be $6,000 m. The Gendalo-Gehem conventional gas development will includes FPU.

Field participation details

The field is owned by Chevron, Eni and China Petrochemical.

Production from Gendalo-Gehem

Production from the Gendalo-Gehem conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2025 and is forecast to peak in 2028, to approximately 22,199 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 681 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2035.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 344.81 Mmboe, comprised of 36.57 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 1,849.44 bcf of natural gas reserves.
