Gettysburg is a conventional oil development located in ultra-deepwater in the US and is operated by Kosmos Energy Gulf of Mexico Operations. Gettysburg lies in block De Soto Canyon 398, with water depth of around 7,918 feet.
The project is currently in feasibility stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025.

Production from Gettysburg
Production from the Gettysburg conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2025 and is forecast to peak in 2028, to approximately 42,209 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 19 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2088.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 270.26 Mmboe, comprised of 251.12 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 114.89 bcf of natural gas reserves.
