GPC Fields is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Egypt and is operated by General Petroleum. The field is located in block HH Area (North Amer) Concession, Sudr Development Lease, Asl Development Lease, Matarma Development Lease, North Amer Extension Development Lease, and Esh El Mallaha Development Lease, with water depth of 157 feet.

Production from GPC Fields

The GPC Fields conventional oil field recovered 68.19% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2000. The peak production was approximately 43.16 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 26 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2038. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.
