Habanero is a producing conventional oil field located in deepwater in the US and is operated by Shell Offshore. The field is located in block Garden Banks 341, with water depth of 2,015 feet.

Production from Habanero

The Habanero conventional oil field recovered 85.77% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2004. The peak production was approximately 13.74 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 34 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2034.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 8.38 Mmboe, comprised of 7.65 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 4.34 bcf of natural gas reserves.
