Haliba is a producing conventional oil field located onshore the UAE and is operated by Al Dhafra Petroleum Operations. The field is located in block Area 1.
An expansion project is associated with the Haliba, namely Haliba Phase 2. This project is currently in the feed stage, expected to start in 2023.

The field is owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil, Korea National Oil and GS Energy.
Production from Haliba
The Haliba conventional oil field recovered 12.03% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 38.8 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2071. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 199.13 Mmboe, comprised of 199.13 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Haliba conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.04% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
