Holstein is a producing conventional oil field located in deepwater in the US and is operated by Anadarko Petroleum. The field is located in block Green Canyon 688, Green Canyon 644, Green Canyon 645, and Green Canyon 643, with water depth of 4,344 feet.

Production from Holstein

The Holstein conventional oil field recovered 76.12% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2005. The peak production was approximately 44.88 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 51 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2041.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 40.58 Mmboe, comprised of 35.53 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 30.32 bcf of natural gas reserves. Holstein conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
