Hyme is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Norway and is operated by Equinor Energy. The field is located in block 6407/8P (PL 348), with water depth of 840 feet.

Production from Hyme

The Hyme conventional oil field recovered 51.39% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2015. The peak production was approximately 14.47 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 11 Mmcfd of natural gas and 1.51 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2034.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 13.72 Mmboe, comprised of 7.83 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 15.64 bcf of natural gas reserves and 3.28 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves.
