Ichalkil-Pokoch is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Mexico and is operated by Lukoil Oil . The field is located in block R01-L02-A4, with water depth of 107 feet.

An expansion project is associated with the Ichalkil-Pokoch, namely Ichalkil-Pokoch Development . This project is currently in the approval stage.

Production from Ichalkil-Pokoch

The Ichalkil-Pokoch conventional oil field recovered 0.21% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production will approximately 98.17 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 107 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2046.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 549.32 Mmboe, comprised of 453.48 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 575.05 bcf of natural gas reserves. Ichalkil-Pokoch conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.12% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
