Jalamid is a producing unconventional gas field located onshore Saudi Arabia and is operated by Saudi Arabian Oil. The field is located in block Saudi Aramco Concession Area.

Two expansion projects are associated with the Jalamid unconventional gas field, namely Jalamid Development ( Phase II) and South Ghawar Development. The expansion projects are currently in the construction stage.

Production from Jalamid

The Jalamid unconventional gas field recovered 19.59% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2029. The peak production will approximately 201 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2057.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 190.58 Mmboe, comprised of 1,143.45 bcf of natural gas reserves. Jalamid unconventional gas field reserves accounts 0.16% of total remaining reserves of producing unconventional gas fields globally.
