Jerneh is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Malaysia and is operated by ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia. The field is located in block Jerneh, with water depth of 197 feet.

Production from Jerneh

The Jerneh conventional gas field recovered 98.76% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1997. The peak production was approximately 705 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2024. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 8.12 Mmboe, comprised of 48.74 bcf of natural gas reserves.
