Production from Kandhkot

The Kandhkot conventional gas field recovered 83.72% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2018. The peak production was approximately 0.01 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 206 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2037. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 44.16 Mmboe, comprised of 0.01 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 264.89 bcf of natural gas reserves. Kandhkot conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
