Production from Karakul Investment Block

The Karakul Investment Block conventional gas field recovered 19.57% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 0.14 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 95 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2068. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 77.59 Mmboe, comprised of 0.75 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 461.04 bcf of natural gas reserves. Karakul Investment Block conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.03% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
