Production from Katmai

The Katmai conventional oil field recovered 2.22% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2026. The peak production will approximately 27.37 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 56 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2079.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 222.81 Mmboe, comprised of 165.66 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 342.87 bcf of natural gas reserves. Katmai conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.05% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
