Khazzan is a producing unconventional gas field located onshore Oman and is operated by Bp Exploration (Epsilon). The field is located in block Block 61 (Makarem Khazan).

Production from Khazzan
The Khazzan unconventional gas field recovered 9.31% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2031. The peak production will approximately 64.81 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1,497 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2059. The field currently accounts for approximately 11% of the country’s daily output.
