Production from Khuff Gas
The Khuff Gas conventional gas field recovered 71.90% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 1,115 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2064. The field currently accounts for approximately 51% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 868.8 Mmboe, comprised of 5,212.81 bcf of natural gas reserves. Khuff Gas conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.30% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
