Koroama is a producing conventional gas field located onshore Nigeria and is operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. The field is located in block OML 28.

Production from Koroama

The Koroama conventional gas field recovered 26.14% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2015. The peak production was approximately 5.04 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 310 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2079. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 390.27 Mmboe, comprised of 19.75 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2,223.1 bcf of natural gas reserves. Koroama conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.13% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
