La Canada Norte is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Colombia and is operated by Hocol. The field is located in block San Jacinto and Rio Paez.

Production from La Canada Norte

The La Canada Norte conventional oil field recovered 51.65% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2015. The peak production was approximately 1.86 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2061.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 5.94 Mmboe, comprised of 4.81 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 6.79 bcf of natural gas reserves.
