Land And Natural Resource Development records 20.76% decrease in production in May 2020

Land And Natural Resource Development recorded a decrease of 20.76% in total oil and gas production to 783.35 boe/d in May 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Land And Natural Resource Development declined 27.03% in May 2020 from 1,073.52 boe/d in May 2019.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 10.87% from the same period in 2019.

The company’s oil production grew 8.71% to 178.97 bd in May 2020 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 26.57% to 3.51 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 25.89% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production declined by 4.99%. Out of the total oil and gas production in May 2020, oil production held a 22.85% share, while gas production held a 77.25% share.


Looking at the states where Land And Natural Resource Development recorded the highest oil and gas production in May 2020, Alabama figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 783.35 boe/d in the state in May 2020, a decrease of 20.76% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 5,064.54 boe/d in Alabama in 2020, recording a decrease of 10.87% from the same period in 2019.



Land And Natural Resource Development witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Pickens county in May 2020. Out of all the counties, Pickens county held a share of 78.39% for the firm. The company produced 614.1 boe/d in Pickens county in May 2020, a decrease of 22.56% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 4,163.39 boe/d for the company in 2020, a 14% decrease from the same period in 2019.
