Leviathan Phase 1A is a producing conventional gas field located in ultra-deepwater in Israel and is operated by Noble Energy Mediterranean. The field is located in block I/15 Leviathan North and I/14 Leviathan South, with water depth of 5,707 feet.

Production from Leviathan Phase 1A

The Leviathan Phase 1A conventional gas field recovered 6.57% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2025. The peak production will approximately 2 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1,113 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2057. The field currently accounts for approximately 57% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 1,514 Mmboe, comprised of 16.03 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 8,987.79 bcf of natural gas reserves. Leviathan Phase 1A conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.52% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
