Liuhua 29-1 is a producing conventional gas field located in deepwater in China and is operated by Husky Oil Operations (China). The field is located in block Block 29/26, with water depth of 2,362 feet.

Production from Liuhua 29-1

The Liuhua 29-1 conventional gas field recovered 7.20% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 62 Mmcfd of natural gas and 2.17 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2046.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 56.31 Mmboe, comprised of 279.65 bcf of natural gas reserves and 9.7 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. Liuhua 29-1 conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
