Lofin is a conventional gas development located onshore Indonesia and is operated by CITIC Seram Energy . Discovered in 2012, Lofin lies in block Seram Non Bula.
The project is currently in feasibility stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024. The Lofin conventional gas development will involve the drilling of approximately two wells.
Production from Lofin
Production from the Lofin conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2025, to approximately 1,800 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 208 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2087.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 360.39 Mmboe, comprised of 14.54 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2,075.07 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves.
Information on the field is sourced from GlobalData’s fields database that provides detailed information on all producing, announced and planned oil and gas fields globally. Not all companies mentioned in the article may be currently existing due to their merger or acquisition or business closure.
