Madura AC is a conventional gas development located in shallow water in Indonesia and is operated by Husky-CNOOC Madura. Discovered in 2012, Madura AC lies in block Madura Strait, with water depth of around 321 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2022. Final investment decision (FID) of the project was approved in 2021. The Madura AC conventional gas development will includes mobile offshore production unit (MOPU).

The field is owned by China National Offshore Oil, Cenovus Energy and Samudra Energy.
Production from Madura AC
Production from the Madura AC conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2022 and is forecast to peak in 2024, to approximately 41 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2046.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 33 Mmboe, comprised of 198 bcf of natural gas reserves.
