Malikai is a producing conventional oil field located in deepwater in Malaysia and is operated by Shell Malaysia. The field is located in block Block G, with water depth of 1,865 feet.

Production from Malikai

The Malikai conventional oil field recovered 34.20% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2018. The peak production was approximately 66.28 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2050. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 178.8 Mmboe, comprised of 178.8 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Malikai conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.04% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
