Mizton Conventional Oil Field, Mexico

Mizton is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Mexico and is operated by Eni Mexico, SDeRLDe CV. The field is located in block R01-L02-A1, with water depth of 108 feet.

Production from Mizton

The Mizton conventional oil field recovered 5.58% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production will approximately 40.5 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 29 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2041. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 149.8 Mmboe, comprised of 133.68 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 96.69 bcf of natural gas reserves. Mizton conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.03% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
