Narrabri Gas Project is a cbm development located onshore Australia and is operated by Santos NSW. Discovered in 1963, Narrabri Gas Project lies in block PPL 3 (NSW).
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025. Final investment decision (FID) of the project will be approved in 2023. The development cost is expected to be $650 m. The Narrabri Gas Project cbm development will involve the drilling of approximately 850 wells.

Production from Narrabri Gas Project
Production from the Narrabri Gas Project cbm development project is expected to begin in 2025 and is forecast to peak in 2028, to approximately 142 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2060.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 194.03 Mmboe, comprised of 1,164.18 bcf of natural gas reserves.
