Nasiriya is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Iraq and is operated by Dhi Qar Oil. The field is located in block Al Nasiriya Contract Area.
An expansion project is associated with the Nasiriya, namely Nasiriya Development. This project is currently in the approval stage.

Production from Nasiriya
The Nasiriya conventional oil field recovered 19.95% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2025. The peak production will approximately 196.61 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 80 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2051. The field currently accounts for approximately 2% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 984.48 Mmboe, comprised of 907.5 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 461.86 bcf of natural gas reserves. Nasiriya conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.21% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
