NNOGC Exploration & Production records 96.18% decrease in production in May 2020

NNOGC Exploration & Production recorded a decrease of 96.18% in total oil and gas production to 13.74 boe/d in May 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of NNOGC Exploration & Production declined 94.82% in May 2020 from 265.09 boe/d in May 2019.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 5.41% from the same period in 2019.

The company’s oil production declined 95.95% to 12.94 bd in May 2020 from the previous month. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 7.38% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019. Out of the total oil and gas production in May 2020, oil production held a 94.18% share.


Looking at the states where NNOGC Exploration & Production recorded the highest oil and gas production in May 2020, New Mexico figured at the top. The company produced 13.74 boe/d in the state in May 2020, a decrease of 58.65% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 116.7 boe/d in New Mexico in 2020, recording a decrease of 90.83% from the same period in 2019.



NNOGC Exploration & Production witnessed the highest oil and gas production in San Juan county in May 2020. Out of all the counties, San Juan county held a share of 100% for the firm. The company produced 13.74 boe/d in San Juan county in May 2020, a decrease of 96.18% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,341.98 boe/d for the company in 2020, a 5.41% increase from the same period in 2019.
