Oak is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Cameroon and is operated by Perenco Rio Del Rey. The field is located in block Oak.

Production from Oak

The Oak conventional oil field recovered 38.67% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 8.38 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2031. The field currently accounts for approximately 8% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 10.02 Mmboe, comprised of 10.02 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
