Och is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Mexico and is operated by Petroleos Mexicanos. The field is located in block A-0242-Och, with water depth of 197 feet.

Production from Och

The Och conventional oil field recovered 88.29% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1999. The peak production was approximately 33.53 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 60 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2032.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 25.02 Mmboe, comprised of 19.67 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 32.11 bcf of natural gas reserves. Och conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
