Ocultun is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Guatemala and is operated by City Peten S De RL. The field is located in block 1-2006.

Production from Ocultun

The Ocultun conventional oil field recovered 15.66% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 0.83 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 7 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2071. The field currently accounts for approximately 24% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 11.48 Mmboe, comprised of 4.71 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 40.63 bcf of natural gas reserves.
