Production from Aries-Aries Norte
The Aries-Aries Norte conventional gas field recovered 80.14% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2010. The peak production was approximately 2.66 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 234.00 Mmcfd of natural gas and 0.90 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2050. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 41.22 Mmboe, comprised of 3.21 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 221.96 bcf of natural gas reserves and 1.01 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. Aries-Aries Norte conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
