Production from Oltenia Area

The Oltenia Area conventional gas field recovered 58.05% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2015. The peak production was approximately 288 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2083. The field currently accounts for approximately 13% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 119.42 Mmboe, comprised of 716.53 bcf of natural gas reserves. Oltenia Area conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.04% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
