Omerelu is a conventional oil development located onshore Nigeria and is operated by Niger Delta Petroleum Resources. Discovered in 1975, Omerelu lies in block Omerelu (OML 53).
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024. The Omerelu conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately one wells.

Production from Omerelu
Production from the Omerelu conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2025, to approximately 2,672 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 3 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2095.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 24.1 Mmboe, comprised of 20.01 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 24.57 bcf of natural gas reserves.
