Production from OML 58
The OML 58 conventional oil field recovered 68.31% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 25.5 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 233 Mmcfd of natural gas and 213 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2052. The field currently accounts for approximately 4% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 510.93 Mmboe, comprised of 76.79 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 937.88 bcf of natural gas reserves and 1,666.96 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves. OML 58 conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.11% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
