Orana is a producing cbm field located onshore Australia and is operated by Origin Energy. The field is located in block PL 215, PL 226, and PL 272.

Production from Orana

The Orana cbm field recovered 51.09% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2017. The peak production was approximately 162 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2038. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 41.75 Mmboe, comprised of 250.53 bcf of natural gas reserves. Orana cbm field reserves accounts 0.91% of total remaining reserves of producing cbm fields globally.
