Paranj is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Iran and is operated by Aghajari Oil and Gas Producing.

An expansion project is associated with the Paranj, namely Paranj Expansion. This project is currently in the feasibility stage.

The field is owned by National Iranian Oil.


Production from Paranj

The Paranj conventional oil field recovered 49.48% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2018. The peak production was approximately 18 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2062.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 72.28 Mmboe, comprised of 72.28 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Paranj conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
