Field participation details
The field is owned by Tokyo Gas, The Kansai Electric Power and Woodside Petroleum.
Production from Pluto LNG
The Pluto LNG conventional gas field recovered 58.77% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 9.41 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 24 Mmcfd of natural gas and 741 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039. The field currently accounts for approximately 4% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 299.72 Mmboe, comprised of 28.57 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 426.32 bcf of natural gas reserves and 1,200.6 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves. Pluto LNG conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.10% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
