The field is located in block ADL 47569, ADL 28384, ADL 343111, ADL 28382, ADL 312862, ADL 28383, ADL 312866, ADL 343112, ADL 343109, ADL 28385, ADL 343110, ADL 377017, ADL 377016, ADL 28380, ADL 389728, ADL 47556, ADL 377020, ADL 47560, ADL 47561, ADL 47568, ADL 390310, ADL 47563, ADL 50983, ADL 47571, ADL 47572, ADL 47567, ADL 47573, ADL 47559, ADL 389730, ADL 47566, ADL 47557, ADL 47570, ADL 51667, ADL 47562, ADL 47558, and ADL 47564.

An expansion project is associated with the Point Thomson Unit, namely Point Thomson Expansion. This project is currently in the approval stage, expected to start in 2025.

Production from Point Thomson Unit

The Point Thomson Unit conventional gas field recovered 19.27% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 9.67 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2079.
