Poleng Conventional Gas Field, Indonesia

Poleng is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Indonesia and is operated by PT Pertamina Hulu Energi. The field is located in block West Madura, with water depth of 197 feet.

The field is owned by PT Pertamina (Persero), Kodeco Energy and PT Mandiri Madura Barat.


Production from Poleng

The Poleng conventional gas field recovered 93.87% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2004. The peak production was approximately 3.95 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 76 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2025.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 4.25 Mmboe, comprised of 4.23 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 0.08 bcf of natural gas reserves.
