Prinos is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Greece and is operated by Energean. The field is located in block Prinos Development Area, with water depth of 168 feet.

An expansion project is associated with the Prinos, namely Prinos EOR. This project is currently in the approval stage.

Production from Prinos

The Prinos conventional oil field recovered 90.15% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1985. The peak production was approximately 27 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2032. The field currently accounts for approximately 61% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 13.17 Mmboe, comprised of 13.17 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
