Quifa is a producing heavy oil field located onshore Colombia and is operated by Frontera Energy Colombia. The field is located in block Quifa.

Production from Quifa

The Quifa heavy oil field recovered 60.43% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2014. The peak production was approximately 56.52 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2036. The field currently accounts for approximately 4% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 112.95 Mmboe, comprised of 112.95 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Quifa heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.25% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
