Ramtex Energy records 13.71% decrease in production in April 2020

Ramtex Energy recorded a decrease of 13.71% in total oil and gas production to 8,137.5 boe/d in April 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Ramtex Energy grew 453.88% in April 2020 from 1,469.19 boe/d in April 2019.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 108.94% from the same period in 2019.

The company’s oil production grew 4.69% to 61.43 bd in April 2020 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 12% to 37.05 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 23.84% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production rose by 109.99%. Out of the total oil and gas production in April 2020, oil production held a 0.75% share, while gas production held a 78.5% share.


Looking at the states where Ramtex Energy recorded the highest oil and gas production in April 2020, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 8,137.5 boe/d in the state in April 2020, a decrease of 13.71% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 32,774.87 boe/d in Texas in 2020, recording an increase of 108.94% from the same period in 2019.



Ramtex Energy witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Fayette county in April 2020. Out of all the counties, Fayette county held a share of 99.04% for the firm. The company produced 8,059.37 boe/d in Fayette county in April 2020, a decrease of 13.76% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 32,428.99 boe/d for the company in 2020, an 111.63% increase from the same period in 2019.
