Range CBM Field, Australia

Range is a cbm development located onshore Australia and is operated by Central Petroleum Eastern. Discovered in 2019, Range lies in block ATP 2031P.

The project is currently in feed stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025. Final investment decision (FID) of the project will be approved in 2023. The Range cbm development will involve the drilling of approximately 143 wells.

The field is owned by Central Petroleum and Incitec Pivot Queensland Gas.

Production from Range

Production from the Range cbm development project is expected to begin in 2025 and is forecast to peak in 2036, to approximately 43 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2051.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 41.93 Mmboe, comprised of 251.6 bcf of natural gas reserves.
